NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead research advancing AI models and agents for cybersecurity, applying them to critical security problems. You will shape architectures, data, and evaluation methods for robust, explainable security solutions in real environments.

The role spans research direction, cross-team collaboration, and translation into deployed capabilities with a focus on high precision and secure deployment. Strong mentorship and publishing momentum are expected.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a track record of research excellence (publications, patents, or strong collaborations).
• Deep expertise in agentic AI, model training, reasoning and tool use, security ML, vulnerability research, program analysis, software security, intrusion detection, malware analysis, or security operations.

Responsabilités

• Define a high-impact research agenda for AI models and agents in cybersecurity.
• Improve capabilities for security reasoning, code/system understanding, planning, tool use, memory, and collaboration with defenders.
• Develop AI capabilities for vulnerability discovery, secure development, threat detection, malware analysis, incident investigation, and automated defense.
• Build and evaluate prototypes in realistic environments, measuring detection quality, false positives, and analyst effectiveness.
• Collaborate across AI, security, research, engineering, and product teams; publish research; mentor researchers and interns.
