Placements24 is seeking an AI Conversational Research and Development Engineer for a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will design and implement advanced NLP/ML models, train LLMs and build scalable pipelines for data processing, evaluation and deployment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, staying current with AI research, and delivering practical, high-impact solutions in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field.
• Proven experience developing and deploying conversational AI models or significant NLP projects.
• Strong experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Python libraries.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop NLU, NLG, dialogue management and sentiment analysis.
• Design, implement and optimize ML models for conversational AI.
• Train LLMs and other AI architectures for enhanced dialogue.
• Build data pipelines for collection, preprocessing, annotation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and designers to define AI features.
• Stay updated with AI research and industry trends.
• Prototype and test new AI algorithms and assess impact.
• Contribute to roadmap and strategy for conversational AI.
• Write clean, well-documented Python code and present findings.
