Job summary

Banner Health seeks a visionary Technical Solution Architect II to lead enterprise-scale solution design across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments, driving AI-enabled healthcare innovations and secure integration of systems.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with executives and clinicians, and shape architectures that improve patient outcomes and operational performance while aligning with Banner Health’s mission and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of progressive IT experience in development, infrastructure, or systems analysis, with 4+ years in solution/enterprise architecture.
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, TOGAF, or ITIL) within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-scale solution design across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Architect AI/ML-enabled applications for predictive analytics, clinical decision support, and operational efficiency.
• Define and enforce architecture governance with HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, and NIST 800-53.
• Develop cloud adoption roadmaps and hybrid connectivity strategies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to create artifacts, archetypes, and roadmaps.
