Allstate Insurance is looking for a Senior AI Cloud Platform Engineer located in Illinois. The role involves building and operating the cloud application development platforms, focusing on GenAI capabilities to tackle complex business challenges. Responsibilities include managing the infrastructure, enhancing Terraform codebases, and cooperating with product teams to drive consumer adoption of AI services.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, knowledge of AI services, and a solid programming foundation in Python. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $145,075 annually based on qualifications.

As a Senior AI Cloud Platform Engineer, you will act as a full‑stack engineer who builds and operates the cloud application development and hosting platforms for Allstate. You will own, develop, implement, and operate GenAI Cloud platforms, and build, administer, and deploy self‑service tools that enable Allstate developers to build, deploy, and operate artificial intelligence applications to solve our most complex business challenges. You will split your time between operational tasks to maintain the platform and handling customer requests, and engineering new solutions to automate the build and operational tasks. You will serve as a pair anchor, advocate of paired programming, test‑driven development, infrastructure engineering, and continuous delivery.
Compensation offered for this role is 85,000.00 – 145,075.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
