Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to architect and develop AI automation for engineering workflows in Santa Clara, CA. This hands-on role leads technical direction and builds production-ready solutions across platform APIs and enterprise systems.

You will own architecture and delivery, mentor engineers, and drive measurable reductions in manual effort while enabling faster development and deployment of NVIDIA products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strong software engineering experience delivering production services and distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ownership of architecture and delivery for complex software projects with minimal mentorship.
• Proficiency in Python or Go with strong testing, CI/CD, and production debugging practices.
• Experience building LLM applications or agentic workflows with tooling integration and failure handling.
• Ability to securely integrate enterprise identity, permissions, credentials, and data.
• Track record of leading cross-team initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term technical vision for AI automation and agentic workflows.
• Own projects from architecture through deployment and ongoing improvement.
• Build agents and services that interpret requests and perform actions across platforms.
• Automate onboarding, provisioning, publishing, and troubleshooting for developers.
• Ensure reliable execution with testing, observability, retries, and recovery.
• Incorporate identity, authorization, and data-access controls in workflows.
• Lead delivery across platform engineering, security, and developer teams.
• Mentor engineers and guide code reviews to improve quality and delivery.
• Measure outcomes by reducing manual effort and increasing adoption.
