Travelers is seeking a Senior Architect in AI and Emerging Technology Architecture to shape the enterprise AI platform strategy. You will design scalable, production-grade AI solutions, including LLM integration, RAG pipelines, and agentic patterns, while aligning with business needs and risk controls.

You will partner with stakeholders across engineering and product to advance the architecture practice, share reusable patterns, and lead technology proofs of concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of architecture experience in software/technology.
Hands-on AI/ML development and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

Define target state architecture and roadmaps for enterprise AI capabilities.
Architect scalable, production-grade AI solutions with LLM integration, RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool-calling patterns.
Collaborate with Lead Architects and domain teams to create reusable patterns and reference architectures.
Translate business requirements into practical AI platform designs while ensuring governance, risk, and compliance.
