IPTA is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Austin, TX to architect, build, and deploy production-grade Generative AI applications, autonomous agent workflows, and RAG systems for Army decision support.

You will own the AI architecture and AI Ops, focusing on accuracy, speed, and cost, while integrating components into data transformation, visualization, and business processes.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years experience with Python and TypeScript in production.
• Experience building enterprise AI pipelines with Palantir Foundry or similar.
• Strong knowledge of LLM architectures, RAG, and retrieval systems.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-grade Generative AI applications and autonomous agent workflows.
• Architect and maintain AI Ops, including regression testing and evaluation of LLM outputs.
• Bridge deterministic backends with non-deterministic LLM reasoning engines.
• Develop RAG pipelines across Army datasets with Foundry integrations.
• Implement secure, multi-tenant guardrails in a DoD environment.
• Optimize context window usage, latency, and cost with a priority: accuracy first.
