Job summary

IDMWORKS is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, integration, and optimization of our next-generation AI platform. The role blends AI engineering with production web applications, leveraging Python, Django, and JavaScript to deliver scalable, production-ready systems.

You will oversee LLM orchestration, integration with Anthropic Claude, and robust CI/CD practices to ensure reliable deployments. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend/AI and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems and AI implementation.
• Hands-on experience with LiteLLM for model management and direct Anthropic/Claude API integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including scripting and asynchronous processing; experience with Django/Django REST Framework.
• Front-end collaboration using JavaScript (ES6+) to deliver AI-driven user interfaces.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and standard deployment practices; strong Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain multi-model pipelines using LiteLLM for routing and cost tracking.
• Integrate Anthropic's Claude models directly into core products to enable advanced reasoning and workflows.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services with Django and Python.
• Collaborate on frontend integration to deliver seamless AI-driven user experiences.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and tool execution.
• Establish and automate deployment pipelines to ensure reliable, rapid iteration.
