Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Senior AI Architect to lead MLOps, DevOps, and cloud engineering for wind engineering AI platforms. You will define reference architectures, establish production-grade AI pipelines, and own model lifecycle governance across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities include observability, security by design, and governance, with mentorship of AI architects and engineers to scale production readiness and sustainable ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Significant hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML in enterprise environments.
• Experience defining technical standards, reference architectures, and design practices across AI solutions.
• Familiarity with production AI systems and enterprise data platforms (Kubernetes, MLflow, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain reference architectures for deploying AI across cloud/edge/on-premises.
• Establish production-grade AI delivery pipelines with CI/CD and continuous training patterns.
• Own model lifecycle from development to retirement and governance.
• Build AI observability, reliability, and drift management practices.
• Embed security, governance, and auditability into AI platforms and deployments.
• Lead technical transfer and ensure maintainable, transferable code.
• Provide portfolio architecture review and technical escalation.
• Mentor architects and raise production engineering capability.
