Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior AI/Applied AI engineer to lead generative AI initiatives across our products and operations. You will bridge research and practical application, focusing on LLMs, content generation, and intelligent tooling to enhance productivity and insights.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, drive scalable AI deployments on AWS, and mentor others on responsible AI and secure cloud practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of programming and architectural experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of NLP and generative models.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and MLOps.
• Generative AI focus: LLMs, prompt engineering, text generation, and related applications.
• Experience delivering services on AWS including security, IAM, data protection.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions addressing critical business challenges within Salesforce.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of generative AI prototypes and production-ready solutions.
• Stay current with AI research, evaluate models and tools for Salesforce applicability.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders for requirements and integration.
• Mentor teams on best practices, ethics, and AI capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of deployed AI models.
