Job summary

Desert Financial Credit Union—through SwitchThink Solutions—seeks an AI Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions for its clients. You will partner with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation and establish scalable AI capabilities across Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, and related ecosystems.

The role requires hands-on architecture leadership, strong governance, and experience guiding cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.
Advanced degree preferred (Master's or MBA).
8+ years in solutions architecture, AI/ML engineering, or Microsoft cloud consulting.
5+ years in technical advisory or client-facing solutions.
3+ years hands-on with Power Platform and conversational AI technologies (Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Apps/Automate/Dataverse).
1+ years in financial services or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and lead delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions for SwitchThink and clients.
Translate business objectives into secure, scalable AI solutions.
Define AI architecture standards and reusable frameworks.
Guide cross-functional teams through discovery to implementation and optimization.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and governance requirements.
Mentor engineers on AI/automation best practices.
