Job summary

SHR Consulting Group is seeking an AI Architect to design and implement AI/ML architectures that support FEMA's cloud, analytics, and mission systems.

You will integrate AI services with FEMA’s enterprise data platforms and collaborate with Data Engineers, PMs, and Cloud Architects to deploy scalable solutions.

The role requires a strong ML engineering background, 7+ years of experience, and a proactive approach to governance, privacy, and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture and pipelines.
• Strong background in ML engineering and distributed systems.
• Experience with model governance and responsible AI practices.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud ML services.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI/ML pipelines, MLOps processes, and cloud-based model deployment.
• Evaluate AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, and GCP Vertex.
• Lead responsible AI, model governance, and bias/risk mitigation.
• Support use case development, prototyping, and technical evaluation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, PMs, and Cloud Architects to integrate AI capabilities.
