Job summary

Rubrik seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead AI Native solutions across the enterprise, driving architecture for distributed AI/ML systems and responsible deployment. You will champion design standards, oversee hands-on development, and advance MLOps pipelines, with senior stakeholder collaboration.

You will partner with R&D, Security, Data, HR, and Finance to translate business needs into scalable AI capabilities, shaping the future of Rubrik’s AI-powered data protection platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Software/Systems Architecture with AI/ML in production
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering; advanced degrees a plus
• Hands-on Generative AI tech including LLMs and RAG
• Strong Python/Java/Go coding skills; knowledge of GenAI tooling
• Experience with vector and graph databases; cloud AI platforms
• Security principles for AI systems; enterprise-scale experience
• Telemetry, tracing, and production monitoring for AI systems
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or public demonstrations

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution design and architecture across teams
• Shape large-scale AI/ML system designs for reliability and security
• Develop patterns for retrieval, prompting, and orchestration
• Drive MLOps pipelines: training, versioning, deployment, monitoring
• Ensure secure AI development and responsible deployment practices
• Collaborate with leadership to translate business use-cases into scalable AI solutions
• Mentor AI/ML engineers and promote engineering excellence
