Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI Architect to define end-to-end Agentic AI architectures, turning LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers into secure, scalable enterprise solutions. You will collaborate with client teams and cross-functional groups.

Remote role in the United States with potential travel; in-person interviews may be required at Cognizant offices or client locations. Strong expertise in AI/ML, Python, and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AI/ML and GenAI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, and multi-agent architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience across AI libraries.
• Cloud platform experience with Azure preferred (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio) and AWS/GCP.
• Experience with modern data/platform ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse), REST APIs, microservices, and event streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
• DevOps/MLOps capabilities including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and experiment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end Agentic AI architecture frameworks leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers.
• Design autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.
• Establish reference architectures for enterprise-grade AI applications that are cloud-native, scalable, and secure.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, including data platforms, ERP, CRM, APIs, and event-driven systems.
