CVS Health is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer - AI & Agentic Systems to secure the next generation of AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows across the enterprise.

As a senior technical contributor, you will define secure design patterns, conduct threat modeling, review architectures, and guide engineering teams on secure development practices while promoting responsible AI security controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, building, or securing enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• 5+ years application security experience including threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• 5+ years programming in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security standards for applications and AI.
• Define secure design patterns for AI agents, prompt management, and autonomous workflows.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments.
• Remediate security findings with engineering teams and prioritize mitigations.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and AI security best practices.
