Job summary

DNV Energy Systems' Platform Services is seeking a Principal Application & AI Security Engineer to advance secure architecture, development workflows, and runtime operations across enterprise and energy platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to ship durable fixes, design reusable controls, model threats, and conduct authorized testing, aiming to eliminate recurring vulnerabilities and make the secure path the easiest path.

Responsibilities

• Securing application and AI architecture across applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and AI-agent systems with emphasis on identity, authorization, data access, and isolation.
• Automating security in engineering workflows by building risk-based controls into delivery processes.
• Eliminating recurring vulnerabilities by fixing root causes at architecture or platform-pattern level and preventing recurrence.
• Building scalable security controls for software and AI supply chains, including SCA, SAST, DAST, and artifact security.
• Leading authorized security testing of applications, APIs, and AI systems and mentoring engineers in secure design and remediation.
