Teradata is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and build AI-native agentic workflows that boost engineering productivity and observability across the Teradata AI Platform. You will architect AI agents for automated diagnostics and integrate LLMs into production systems, working closely with platform engineering and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with AI/ML in production.
• Proven experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows.
• Strong Python and one of Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and observability.
• Foundational AI skills: prompt engineering and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows to boost engineering productivity.
• Architect and build AI agents for observability and automated diagnostics.
• Design agentic workflows across telemetry pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI-driven tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce MTTR.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging.
• Drive AI-native development practices across apps and platform engineering.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed intelligent automation in CI/CD and DevOps.
• Demonstrate foundational AI skills to enhance productivity and impact.
• Shape Teradata's AI-powered platform with measurable reliability improvements.
