Job summary

Teradata Corporation seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and deploy AI-native agentic workflows across the Teradata AI Platform. You will build AI-driven systems that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, applications, and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with teams to embed intelligent automation into CI/CD and DevOps, applying LLMs and reasoning frameworks to improve engineering velocity and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with AI/ML production experience.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python and one of Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows across Teradata’s AI Platform.
• Architect AI-driven systems that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, applications, and workflows.
• Build AI agents for observability, root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and productivity optimization.
• Design agentic workflows integrating telemetry pipelines, apps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce toil.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate debugging and diagnostics.
• Embed intelligent automation into CI/CD, DevOps, and support workflows.
