Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead AI and agentic architecture efforts. You will design and ship agentic systems, developer tooling, and reusable platform capabilities across engineering teams.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, building production‑grade AI tooling, and shaping architecture patterns. Strong coding skills and experience with agentic SDKs, MCP, and CI/CD are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands‑on AI/LLM-powered or agentic apps.
• Strong programming skills (Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C++) and solid API design, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, LLMs — tool use, orchestration, context management, validation and evaluation.
• Experience designing MCP tool/resource interfaces and reliability in multi‑agent systems.
• Experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and communicate tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production‑quality agentic apps and tooling.
• Extend Codex/Claude Code configurations and CI/CD pipelines for AI development.
• Develop MCP server integrations to unify engineering workflows.
• Prototype and validate new AI capabilities with real users; productionize successful prototypes.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership through architecture reviews and mentoring.
