Job summary

Oracle Health is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to build production AI agents and workflow automation capabilities that accelerate analytics delivery and reduce manual engineering effort across our analytics and reporting ecosystem. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience delivering LLM-enabled applications that are grounded, testable, and production-ready.

Qualifications

• 8 years of software engineering experience with Python, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-enabled or agentic AI solutions.
• Expertise in AI agents and workflow automation including tool calling, orchestration, and validation.
• Experience with enterprise GenAI, RAG, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, and knowledge bases.
• Production-ready, secure AI systems with observability, testing, and safeguards.
• Cross-functional collaboration to define reusable APIs, schemas, and integration patterns.
• U.S. citizen due to client contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy production AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for analytics and reporting.
• Implement agents that support SQL generation, pipeline creation, metric design, and narrative generation.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise tools, data platforms, and existing workflows.
• Develop structured tool-calling patterns, validation logic, retry handling, and grounded outputs.
• Build evaluation and testing approaches for AI workflows including regression testing and quality validation.
• Partner with architects, semantic engineers, and domain teams to ensure useful, accurate outputs.
