Job summary

Amazon Games in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for its AI acceleration team. You will embed with internal teams, own outcomes end to end from discovery to live deployment, and feed learnings back to our platform and tooling so every team benefits.

You design, build, and operate systems that bring proprietary and third‑party models into daily workflows, turning ambiguous problems into scalable production code across required stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Embed with internal teams: scope, design, and ship AI powered productivity solutions into production.
• Own the outcome: define success and stay accountable until live and adopted.
• Reach production fast and make it stick: enable ongoing use and expansion.
• Close the loop to product: turn learnings into reusable platform capabilities, agents, SDKs.
• Launch cross-functional agents: identify high-value use cases and build agentic workflows.
• Stay ahead and pioneer: track AI methodologies and evangelize across teams.
• Build and operate high scale API infrastructure: secure, scalable AI solutions on AWS.
• Ensure enterprise grade security, compliance, and responsible AI underpin every solution.
