Farm Service Agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico seeks an experienced Loan Specialist to manage farm loan programs across the state. The role requires delegated loan approval authority and the ability to supervise the full range of loan operations in USDA Service Centers.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with agricultural loans, financial analysis, and state policy development. This is a permanent, full-time position with travel as needed and telework eligibility per agency policy.

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural loans and farm financing.
• Experience providing financial management guidance to agricultural borrowers.
• Ability to analyze complex loan applications and financial statements.

Responsabilités

• Provides technical guidance; collaborates with government and private agencies across the state.
• Has delegated loan approval authority and performs full range of loan specialist duties.
• Develops and recommends state policy and program implementation guidelines.
• Directs, oversees, evaluates and advises on the farm loan program administered through USDA Service Centers across the state.
