Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or related field.
• Experience reviewing and passing on agricultural, commercial, or loan applications.
• Knowledge of farm financing concepts and loan underwriting standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with committees, lenders, and agencies to assess loan eligibility and feasibility.
• Review and process loan cases involving liquidation, foreclosure, or bankruptcy.
• Approve or disapprove loans and servicing requests within delegated authority.
• Plan and direct Farm Loan Programs in the assigned service area.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Improve access to agency programs through community outreach.
• Maintain relationships with producers, lenders, and institutions.
• Promote high quality customer service to FSA applicants and borrowers.
• Review significant operational changes for compliance and effectiveness.
• Assist borrowers in loan restructuring and modification.
