Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead an enterprise Agile transformation for the F&M program in Washington, DC. You will guide strategy, governance, and execution across multiple teams to deliver measurable business value.

The role requires deep experience in Agile frameworks, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proven ability to coach coaches and teams while shaping future practices within a rigorous, regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years leading enterprise Agile transformations.
  • 5+ years coaching teams
  • 3+ years project/program management or systems engineering experience
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar
  • Certified Agile practitioner certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMP-ACP, SAFe
  • Government or highly regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain transparency with stakeholders through status reporting, data-driven insights, and sponsor engagement.
  • Drive team maturity by implementing assessment frameworks, coaching plans, and maturity metrics beyond velocity.
  • Ensure Agile resource effectiveness by setting performance standards for Coaches and Scrum Masters, and resolving conflicts.
  • Maintain consistency of the Agile playbook across teams and coaches.
  • Drive business value by aligning team outputs with program objectives and metrics.
  • Build governance through documented processes, risk management, and stakeholder rhythms.
  • Shape program strategy by evaluating effectiveness and piloting innovative practices.
