Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Agile Systems Engineer to provide SETA support for the Intelligence Community Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED).

You will design, develop, test, and deliver products across hardware, software, and data analysis with multidisciplinary teams in a security-conscious setting. This contingent role offers opportunities to influence mission-critical systems and work on advanced ground and enterprise-data platforms.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in systems engineering with leadership in technical projects; experience in agile environments and DevOps.
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools, Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and relevant programming or scripting languages.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities; ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software/system development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work with product owners, stakeholders, developers, QA, and operations to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Apply Agile principles: manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in an iterative, customer-focused manner.
• Design and implement system architectures: ensure scalability, security, and performance while aligning with business goals.
• Debug defects, troubleshoot system problems, and implement fixes promptly.
• Ensure systems meet quality, security, and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices through training and self-study.
• Create and maintain documentation: produce clear design and implementation documentation.
