Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team to define product vision, strategy, and requirements for success
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and communicate business objectives and strategic initiatives
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of training materials to facilitate product adoption
- Monitor user data and identify opportunities to enhance user experience and increase product usage
- Coach and mentor other Product Owners while participating in agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- At least 3 years of agile leadership experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Demonstrated knowledge of product development and agile methodologies, preferably Scrum and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Certifications such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or SAFe are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading large-scale system implementations or conversions
- Strong dynamic communication skills and ability to inspire senior leadership
- Proven relationship-building and collaboration skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Specialties in supporting Underwriting, Insurance Product Launches, or Data and Analytics
