Job summary

Wyetech LLC is recruiting software engineers to modernize legacy systems with microservices on AWS for federal government customers. You will design, implement, test and document software using Java, Spring Boot and Python, delivering REST services in an Agile team.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, with SEP IRA retirement contributions offered and a wide set of Maryland/Virginia/OCONUS contract locations. The role emphasizes CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps, plus NoSQL databases like MongoDB

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 10 years of relevant experience
• Java, Spring boot or python
• JSON Schema
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
• Database: NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
• OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly

Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline
