Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking an Agile Developer to modernize a legacy system with a microservices architecture. You will design and build Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS and integrate Python to optimize services like Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.

The role emphasizes CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps, Agile delivery, and strong collaboration with teammates and stakeholders. A Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker
• Development in Cloud Environment
• Experience with Rules Engines
• AWS Services (i.e. Lambda’s, Step functions, S3, etc.)
• Document-based storage (MongoDB, OpenSearch, etc.)
• Relational Data Store Familiarity (RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Cucumber Testing

Responsibilities

• Modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices architecture.
• Write Java Spring Boot microservices utilizing AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, S3.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Participate in Agile development and delivery of software.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
