Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Case Management Modernization (CMM) program for the Administrative Office of the US Courts. You will join an agile team building a cloud-based solution to modernize CM/ECF across appellate, district, and bankruptcy courts.

Responsibilities include backlog decomposition, defining acceptance criteria, coordinating with Fed BAs and Product Owners, and creating clear process flows and narratives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in business analysis.
• Experience analyzing, decomposing and documenting detailed requirements.
• Experience developing requirements into technical user stories with DoD and acceptance criteria.
• Experience aligning product scope, vision, and roadmap with stakeholders.
• Cloud-based IT solutions and modern UI stacks (React, NodeJS) desirable.
• Experience with COTS solutions (Camunda, Flowable, MS Bookings, SharePoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog planning with stakeholders.
• Decompose the backlog and ensure consistent implementation across the product backlog.
• Collaborate with customers to align expectations while controlling scope.
• Provide transparency with backlog metrics and dashboards.
• Define and enforce DoD and Definition of Ready for work items.
• Assist in maintaining a healthy backlog ready for sprints across teams.
• Coordinate with Fed BAs and Product Owners to resolve impediments promptly.
• Lead process flow mapping and narrative development for business processes.
