Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Agentic AI & MCP Specialist in the United States to architect and operationalize next-generation agentic systems powered by LLMs. You will design orchestration, implement model-driven decision logic, and build secure, scalable AI applications that safely leverage emerging techniques.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-grade apps.
• Experience building agentic AI systems with planning, tool use, and multistep reasoning.
• Hands-on MCP-based integrations and tool interfaces.
• Translate requirements into scalable AI solutions balancing feasibility and impact.
• LLM development practices including finetuning, RAG, prompts.
• Python development and distributed compute, APIs and microservices.
• Experience integrating agents into cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps incl versioning, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Ability to lead design, mentor developers, communicate architectures.
• Git-based CI/CD with automated testing and release pipelines, production systems.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
