Job summary

Midland Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Developer to scale AI-powered solutions across the business from LaVista, NE.

You will collaborate with leaders to automate processes, build tools, and integrate AI into Order Processing, Purchasing, Accounting, and Customer Service. You’ll design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor agentic AI applications, APIs, and workflows, leveraging Copilot, Azure AI, and Power Platform to drive measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Professional experience delivering AI-powered solutions and business applications.
• Hands-on with agentic AI and AI automation.
• Experience using Microsoft AI technologies: Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform, Power Automate.
• Strong development experience in Python, PHP, Vue.js, APIs and integrations, and SQL.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Track record delivering projects from concept to production with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and cut manual work.
• Partner with department leaders to understand challenges and define requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and support AI-powered solutions and integrations.
• Build agentic AI capabilities that perform multi-step tasks with business systems.
• Develop APIs, workflows, and applications connecting people, data, and AI.
• Work with databases and enterprise systems to deliver practical tools.
• Create proof-of-concepts, evaluate results, and move successful solutions to production.
• Mentor IT staff on AI technologies and development practices.
