This senior role focuses on managing complex cybersecurity incident responses, negotiating technology agreements, and providing strategic regulatory counsel within the global financial services sector.

Base salary ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 per year, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active license to practice law.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven expertise in incident response and cyber-risk management for highly regulated organizations.
• CIPP-US or CISSP certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Advise on global cybersecurity regulations and serve as the primary legal contact for financial-services regulators.
• Incident Response: Lead legal strategy for multi-jurisdictional cyber incidents and refine enterprise response protocols.
• Contracting: Draft and negotiate complex vendor and client-facing cybersecurity agreements.
• Strategic Advisory: Partner with CISO and technology leadership to shape enterprise cyber risk strategy.
