A Day in the Life

Atrial fibrillation affects over 33 million individuals worldwide and is the most common form of serious arrhythmia. Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the Affera Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Affera Product Specialist to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.

Reporting to the operating unit, this role is critical in bringing the Affera Mapping and Ablation System into the assigned marketplace, as well as providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the system. This position primarily supports Slovenia and Croatia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the use of the Affera Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment (Generators, SW functionalities, pump, and accessories).
• Serve as a technical adviser/expert, demonstrating products/services, providing T&E, in-service or trade show support, and troubleshooting product issues.
• Contribute to short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the system; adapt and deploy product/service value propositions.
• Conduct competitive product analysis, opportunity assessment, and market research.
• Participate in the development of advanced clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with the education team to develop training centers.
• Stay informed about all products across the Medtronic CAS portfolio, instructions for use (IFU), relevant scientific literature, and new product information.
• Manage product launch strategies for new site activation and ensure effective product placement based on customer needs.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines.
• At least 3 years of clinical EP experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of independent support of EP mapping procedures.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations with a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to colleagues.
• High responsiveness to customers and stakeholders.
