JobDiva, Inc. seeks a Senior Aerospace Value Engineering & Manufacturing Optimization Engineer to lead DFM, Should-Cost, and cost-reduction redesigns for critical aerospace systems in Dayton, OH. You will drive value through Design-to-Cost initiatives, evaluate supplier costs, and ensure airworthiness and ITAR compliance.

You will collaborate with client teams and local manufacturers, support NPD, and guide aftermarket transitions while maintaining high quality and reliability standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead DFM, Design-to-Cost, Product Redesign, and Should-Cost initiatives.
• Support military aerospace and defense programs, ITAR-controlled.
• Collaborate with offsite Client teams and local aerospace customers.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and cost-reduction redesign.
• Support aftermarket sustainment and supplier-enabled manufacturing transitions.
• Evaluate product designs, processes, and supplier cost structures.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

• This position is for a Senior Aerospace Value Engineering & Manufacturing Optimization Engineer to join a growing military aerospace and defense engineering team with L&T Technology Services (Client).
• The engineer will provide critical value to customers by leading Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design-to-Cost, Product Redesign, and Should-Cost initiatives for complex, mission-critical aerosFspace products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design-to-Cost, Product Redesign, and Should-Cost initiatives.
• Support military aerospace and defense programs, including ITAR-controlled projects.
• Collaborate with offsite Client teams and local aerospace customers.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and cost-reduction redesign initiatives.
• Support aftermarket sustainment and supplier-enabled manufacturing transitions.
• Evaluate product designs, manufacturing processes, and supplier cost structures.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, manufacturing optimization, and process improvement.
• Ensure product performance, quality, reliability, and airworthiness requirements are maintained.
