Job summary

The candidate will extract data from drawings, coordinate with technical illustrators, and ensure regulatory compliance with FAA/EASA standards. Onsite work in Vermont with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or aerospace preferred.
• At least five years writing S1000D docs for aerospace.
• Experience with CSDB administration and content peer reviews.
• Proficiency in extracting data from drawings and CAD models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, peer review, and edit aerospace manuals compliant with S1000D/ASD-STE100.
• Use S1000D tools to manage effectivity and applicability.
• Collaborate with SMEs to obtain source data and revise content.
• Extract data from engineering drawings, specs, and CAD models.
• Coordinate with illustrators for graphics markups and updates.
• Meet project deadlines and track workflow in collaboration tools.
