Job summary

Collinear Group is seeking a Sr. Systems and Certification Engineer to lead certification activities for aerospace systems.

You will develop system-level requirements, work with cross-functional teams to build qualification artifacts, and ensure compliance with FAA and DoD standards in highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate has a BS in aerospace/mechanical engineering or related field, 5+ years in large-scale design and certification, and proven experience with FAA conformity and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or related field and/or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years experience in large scale systems design and certification environments.
• Advanced experience with system-level performance and aerospace certification requirements (ARP4754, DO-178/254/160, CFR 23/25/29/33/35, MIL-STDs).
• Experience with FAA conformity and airworthiness processes (8130-3, 8130-9, 8100-1).
• Experience supporting FAA certification activities, including coordination with DERs/ODA/FAA reps and conformity inspections.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
