Job summary

Actalent in Houston, TX is seeking a Structural Dynamics Analyst to support the design, analysis, verification, and qualification of advanced aerospace systems. You will build finite element models, perform loads, vibration, shock, acoustic, and modal analyses, and correlate analytical results with test data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of structural dynamics analysis experience in aerospace or spaceflight contexts.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform structural dynamics assessments for aerospace systems.
Develop finite element models to evaluate hardware performance.
Conduct loads, vibration, shock, acoustic, and modal analyses.
Support hardware test campaigns and correlate models with test data.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and requirements.
Present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
