Belcan is seeking a Senior Repair Development Engineer in Arkansas City, KS to lead complex aerospace repair development projects for aftermarket operations. You will drive design validation, regulatory compliance, and technical leadership across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of aftermarket repair development experience in aerospace.
- Experience with aerospace MRO special processes: HT, Brazing, Machining, Welding, Coatings, NDT, EDM.
- FAA DER accreditation or experience with FAA DER preferred.
- Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair development projects concurrently.
- Strong cost reduction and efficiency improvement mindset.
- Proficient in 3D CAD and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Own complex repair development activities for new products.
- Develop project plans and coordinate stages with customers/OEM.
- Support quoting new repair and development projects.
- Lead projects to meet quality and on-time delivery.
- Handoff to operations during low-rate production with instructions.
- Identify and mitigate risks including safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with repair team to support delivery and inventory strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost and shorten turnaround.
- Provide technical authority and mentor junior engineers.
- Review drawings, work instructions, and reports.
