Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of aerospace/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with first article inspections and related tools.
• Experience with APQP, PFMEAs, DFMEAs, and SPC.
• Experience in regulated aerospace environments and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102/AS9103/AS9145/AS6500 and SAP.
• Experience building dashboards with Sigma or MS BI; SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure powertrain systems meet design, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to transition from design to production.
• Develop and roll out APQP techniques: PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.
• Lead establishment of inspection plans and First Article Inspections (SAE AS9102).
• Support CAPA, MRB dispositions, and continuous improvement for powertrain manufacturing.
• Create quality reports and KPIs to monitor manufacturing health and drive actions.
• Assist in FAA conformity inspections and related company certifications.
• Provide training on quality standards and tools to team members.
