Job summary

Moog, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality activities for space and defense programs in Phoenix, AZ.

On-site role with a 9/80 schedule and collaboration across internal teams, suppliers, and customers. The candidate will guide inspection planning, QMS processes, and root-cause analysis to prevent nonconformances. Required are 7+ years in quality, aerospace electronics experience, and strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001, AS9102, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a quality-related environment.
• Experience with Aerospace Electronics.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 and AS9102.
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Act as the quality lead for assigned programs and drive a quality culture.
• Provide technical support to programs, customers, suppliers and government agencies to ensure contractual compliance.
• Lead the creation and evaluation of cost-effective inspection planning and program plans.
• Manage NCs/CA and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
