Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes for high-reliability satellites and platforms. You will work across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations to ensure robust production readiness.

The role requires a BS in an engineering field and 5+ years' industry experience, with strong knowledge of IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 and change management. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of electronics hardware.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, workflows, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions for complex products.
• Conduct process evaluations, time studies, and capacity analyses.
• Evaluate drawings, BOMs, and requirements to resolve manufacturing challenges.
