Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a skilled machinist to operate conventional and NC machining centers on semi-complex parts. You will work from blueprints and planning sheets, perform setups, adjustments, and precision finishing while maintaining quality and lean processes.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with gauges, ensuring tolerances, and contributing to productivity improvements. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Three years of machining experience.
• Reads and follows blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates lean manufacturing knowledge and problem solving.
• Able to apply SPC concepts in production.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs multiple production machines.
• Performs machine operations and reworks as needed.
• Adjusts feeds, speeds and tools for part quality.
• Inspects parts with gauges and micrometers for conformance.
• Maintains equipment and clean work area.
• Supports lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
