Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA seeks a Senior Interior Installation Technician to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors such as galleys, closets, and panels in accordance with design specs and quality standards.

You will mentor fellow technicians, coordinate with supervision for FAA paperwork, and lead tasks to ensure on-time delivery. Excellent reading of blueprints and use of hand/power tools are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.
• Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors including trim, panels and fittings.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection for FAA paperwork and sign-offs.
• Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians.
• Lead projects, procure materials, and manage tasks with attention to quality standards.
• Use material tracking system to create parts demand and sign off work.
• Follow procedures when using tools and maintain shop equipment.
• Prepare and install interior items per procedures and quality standards.
• Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; address unsafe conditions.
• Assist technicians with maintenance requirements and adapt to schedule changes.
