Job summary

AthenPollo is seeking a Senior Aerospace Interconnect Engineer in Camarillo, CA to support a global multinational power management company. This full-time role focuses on EWIS components including connectors, backshells, conduits, and cable assemblies.

Responsibilities include guiding IPTs, leading RCCA investigations, and coordinating with customers and internal teams. Strong leadership and 8D/RedX experience are required. Email: yunusb(AT)athenpollo.com

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of product engineering experience in interconnect product development, analysis, and test.
Experience leading engineering programs and mentoring peers.
Experience in failure investigations using 8D or RedX and presenting to leadership.
Experience leading product qualification programs and creating test plans.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight for design/analysis/test of EWIS components used in aerospace, industrial and military applications.
Lead engineering change management using the PLM system (Enovia).
Review and provide feedback on engineering deliverables to product engineering teams.
Guide IPTs in requirements management across the lifecycle.
Mentor junior engineers and coach cross-functional teams.
Lead RCCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
Lead MRB reviews of discrepant hardware and perform functional assessments.
Apply ACES standards across projects and contribute to ongoing improvements.
