Job summary

The Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office at Eglin AFB seeks a Supervisory General Engineer or Operations Research Analyst (NH-0801/1515-4) to lead a group within a nine-discipline engineering workforce and manage policy, contracts, and technical investments. The role requires a strong engineering background, leadership experience, and TS clearance.

Expect duties overseeing workforce development, strategic planning, and advancement of state-of-the-art weapons software.

Qualifications

• Professional engineering degree (bachelor) in Aerospace engineering or closely related discipline.
• Must obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
• Probationary/trial period required (1 or 2 years depending on position).
• APDP certification and continuous learning requirements within defined grace period.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the group-level unit.
• Develop goals and objectives that align with engineering objectives.
• Provide innovative recommendations for advancing programs and technologies.
• Represent the organization with installation and interagency committees.
