Job summary

Trusted Space, Inc. seeks a Senior Aerospace Engineer to design, implement, and validate orbit‑based algorithms supporting an autonomous product.

The role combines aerospace dynamics, simulation modeling, and cross‑functional collaboration within an Agile team in Aurora, CO and Chantilly, VA. You will work with Basilisk, Orekit, GMAT and other tools, contribute to documentation, and help deliver robust space-domain models.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, or applied mathematics.
• 8+ years of modeling, simulation, or mission dynamics experience.
• Experience developing or validating aerospace space-domain models.
• Hands-on experience with simulation environments and data generation.
• Ability to collaborate with autonomy and software teams in Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine aerospace mission-dynamics and space-domain simulation models.
• Collaborate with autonomy and software engineers to validate interfaces and workflows.
• Generate test data, simulation datasets, and scenario configurations.
• Contribute aerospace artifacts to documentation, training, and presentations.
