Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Senior Journeyman to lead installation, maintenance, and optimization of complex electrical systems in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing setting. You will drive uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a Journeyman license, 7+ years in industrial electrical work (aerospace preferred), and strong PLC, CNC, robotics, and safety knowledge. Sponsorship is not available; ITAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Active Journeymen license required.
• 7+ years industrial electrical experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, automation systems, and power distribution.
• Experience with CNC equipment, robotics, and automated production lines preferred.
• Deep understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), OSHA regulations, and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read complex electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in high-pressure, production-driven environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in a high-tech aerospace manufacturing facility.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in CNC machines and automated systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with codes and aerospace quality requirements.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve performance.
• Oversee and mentor electricians and technicians; provide training and guidance.
• Coordinate outside contractors for electrical projects and upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement in electrical systems, energy efficiency, and safety.
