Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Composites Technology team in Palo Alto, CA. You will specialize in producing complex composite parts and structures, provide project management, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to plan production.

You will plan operation sequences, estimate costs, and determine tooling and process needs for new or existing product lines. You will maintain records and apply company policies to resolve routine issues on problems of

• BS degree in engineering or related field; master’s degree may account for additional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general manufacturing engineering support in a high-volume aerospace composite dept.
• Oversee fabrication of precision aerospace hardware and coordinate with design for manufacturability.
• Develop and manage project schedules and report status to management.
• Coordinate resource usage to support department needs and timelines.
• Review part/tooling assemblies with design engineers and update designs if needed.
• Evaluate and implement upgraded production software and update processes.
