Qualifications

• 5+ years of Aerospace Assembly experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity.
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units, parts, equipment and components per blueprints using hand and power tools.
• Bolt, screw or rivet accessories to fasten subassemblies.
• Drill holes and attach brackets or clips as required.
• Locate reference points and holes using jigs and measuring tools.
• Inspect and test installed units for fit and performance.
• Position subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.
• Cut, trim and file parts to fit; verify tolerances.
• Install bushings using specified methods as needed.
• Operation of Bridgeport manual mill where required.
