Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Aeronautical Engineer- Test and Evaluation Lead to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA. The Test Lead will coordinate, manage, and execute test activities across the program lifecycle to meet milestones and ensure data integrity and documentation quality.

The selected candidate must hold an active Secret clearance (with potential for Top Secret) and be able to travel up to 25% for ground and flight tests,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in STEM with 8+ years of related experience, or MS in STEM with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Demonstrated experience in test and evaluation within defense/aeronautics.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Plans, procedures and reports for flight/ground testing.
• Coordinate with government ranges for approvals and test readiness.
• Execute testing from concept to component and full vehicle level.
• Manage test facilities, data, and documentation per standards.
• Communicate status to SEIT Lead and customers; ensure on-time results.
